Refund Policy
Sakura-Con Memberships are NOT transferable and NOT refundable.
Membership Confirmations and Receipts
You will receive a membership confirmation from our new membership system. Please keep a copy of you confirmation handy, but please note that it is not necessary in order to pick up your membership badge.
Military Discounts
Military, both Active and Veteran – and their dependents, are eligible for a $5 off discount to their Sakura-Con membership, with provided military ID. You must bring your Military ID to Registration with you when you pick up your badge at the convention.
When registering on JoinIt, please use the discount code box and enter “sakmilitary” as your discount code PRIOR to clicking Submit on your membership payment. If you do not do it prior to submitting your membership, we cannot refund the discount amount.
Group Discounts
Group Discounts are not currently available, except for Educational Groups, and restrictions apply.
Educational Groups serving minors (and high school enrolled adults) can apply here!
Please keep an eye on your email for followups and acceptance or declinations!
Alternate Display Names
Registering with a name OTHER than your legal name on your government-issued Photo ID.
If you are transgender, or use an alternate name for security purposes, please email Registration@sakuracon.org, and we will be happy to work with you! Sakura-Con is an inclusive convention and we would like to accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.
Single Day (Pro-Rated) Membership
We will not be selling pro-rated (Single Day) memberships.
Photo ID Policy
Valid, government-issued photo identification is required for all adults. There will be no exceptions.This does not include school IDs.
Minor members do not need to have photo identification, however, they must have a registered adult member with them. Their registered adult must present a valid, government-issued photo ID, in order to pick up a minor badge.
Badge Pickup
You will pick up your membership badge at the convention during open Registration hours. Please note: we do NOT mail badges before the convention.
Badge pickup for 2024 will be announced in early 2024.

All Minors MUST have a legal adult attending with them, and on premises at all times.
A Note about Memberships
We don’t sell “admissions”, “tickets” or “badges”. We are a nonprofit, 100% volunteer run, members only organization. Our event is members only. When you purchase your membership you become part of the Asia-Northwest Cultural Education Association, and join us in supporting our State and Federal 501c3 nonprofit mission to educate and celebrate Asian culture through popular media and arts! Attending the event is a primary benefit of becoming a member, however, it’s not all.
In addition to attending Sakura-Con, your membership comes with other benefits and an ongoing invitation to be involved in our mission. Other benefits examples include automatic inclusion in our Members Only mailing list, Members Newsletters, discounts we negotiate year round for members, giveaways, discounted special events, and more as we can secure them. You are also assured that at Sakura-Con, as members, you will not be charged for programming such as concerts, theaters or even guest autographs! Finally, General Members can nominate in our elections, if they so desire. In this way, Sakura-Con is truly always “by fans and for fans” along with our nonprofit mission.
