Panel Info
Hey Prospective Panelists.
We don’t know when panel applications will be going live. At this point in time we don’t feel it’s fair to put the extra burden of the content review policy on you as well as a reduced submission timeline so we will be removing the content review policy for 2025 and revisiting it in 2026.
We are sorry for the false starts when it has come to panel submissions this year and will let you all know as soon as we know anything definitive.
Thank you for your patience.
Panel Link is being updated
Hello future Sakura-Con 2025 Panelists! We’re aware of an issue with our panels link and are working on it on the back end. This is all part of switching to that exciting new system we told you about and we apologize for the inconvenience and will let everyone know when the link is confirmed working. We appreciate all your enthusiasm for running panels at Sakura-Con and hope to have the issue resolved soon.
Panel Submissions Will Now Open November 14
Hey there prospective panelists! Sakura-Con is in the process of switching over to a new scheduling platform with exciting potential. Unfortunately, this transition does mean the opening for panel submissions has been delayed by two weeks.
But don’t fret! We are also extending the closure date of submissions to January 13, meaning the amount of time you have to submit won’t be affected by the change.
If you have any questions, we will be updating our FAQ with information as it becomes available to us over the course of this process. If your question isn’t addressed there, please reach out to the panels team via email at panels@sakuracon.org and we’ll do our best to chase down an answer for you.
Thanks in advance for your patience, and Happy Halloween!
