Jonathan Klein is a Videogame & Anime voice director & producer. He most recently directed the English language version of Street Fighter V for Capcom. His company, New Generation Pictures, has worked on hundreds of different projects, for both U.S. and international release, including such popular anime as; Hellsing, Hellsing Ultimate, Gun x Sword, Kamichu, R.O.D the TV, Ikki Tousen and many other anime titles. Jonathan was the director of the English language versions of such anime as Ergo-Proxy, Haibane Renmei, Texhnolyze, Melody of Oblivion and Satoshi Kon’s Paranoia Agent. He has recently returned to directing anime for Funimation as the voice director on Bayonetta: Bloody Fate and Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians and Xtreme Xecutor.
Jonathan has also produced and/or directed many other video game projects for Square Enix, Capcom, Namco, NIS America & other companies including; Street Fighter IV & Super Street Fighter IV, Marvel & Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Street Fighter x Tekken, Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy: The Crystal Bearers, Final Fantasy; Chocobo’s Dungeon, Demon Gaze, Operation Abyss, Natural Doctrine, The Guided Fate Paradox, Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals, Rune Factory 3, Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, The Last Remnant, Time Crisis 4, Dawn of Mana, Valkyrie Profile 2, and Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume. Jonathan has also been working with Marvel Comics & several videogame companies on different projects based on their famous comic-book characters, including the free-to-play MMO – Marvel Heroes Online and the Marvel Pinball series for Zen Studios. Beyond working as producer and director, Jonathan’s responsibilities also include scriptwriting, script adaptation and even working behind the microphone as a voice actor. Jonathan has voice acted in such anime & videogames as Final Fantasy IV, Star Ocean IV, Rune Factory 3, The Guided Fate Paradox, Ergo Proxy, Rumiko Takahashi Anthology, Kamichu, Girls Bravo, Gun x Sword, Burst Angel, Galaxy Railways and Beck.
In addition to Jonathan’s work in Anime & Videogames he is the co-founder of Anime Charity Auctions, an organization dedicated to help raise money for worthwhile charitable causes. Anime Charity Auctions donates rare and unusual autographed items from anime and videogames to be auctioned off at various anime & science fiction conventions. All the proceeds raised from the auction are donated to the not-for-profit charity that the convention sponsors.
