Hiromi Kato

Hiromi Kato is a strikingly skilled animation director and character designer. His artistic talents can be viewed in such classics as Digimon: The Movie (U.S.), Death Note (TV), Di Gi Charat (TV), Azumanga Daioh (TV), Ah! My Goddess (TV), and Revolutionary Girl Utena (TV). In Guilty Crown (TV), Kato served as Chief Animation Director (episodes 12 and 22), Animation Director (Opening 1-2; episodes 1 and 19), Animation Character Design, Assistant Animation Director (episode 18), and Key Animator (episode 22). Kato’s character designs will appear in the upcoming anime adaptation of the popular smartphone RPG Chain Chronicle.
