Gen Urobuchi is a writer and creator with many very popular titles to his credit. Born in 1972 in Tokyo, Japan, Mr. Urobuchi is a scenario writer and screenwriter for PC game maker Nitroplus. He made his debut with “Phantom of Inferno”. Major works include “Kikokugai: The Cyber Slayer”, “Saya no Uta” (Song of Saya), and others. As a novelist, Mr. Urobuchi penned “Fate/Zero” and “Eisen Flügel”. He also composed the series and wrote all episodes of “Magical Girl Madoka Magica” and wrote the screenplays for original movie, “Expelled from Paradise” and tokusatsu drama, “Kamen Rider Gaim”. His newest work is the original draft, screenplay, and general supervision of the Wuxia Fantasy Puppet TV series “Thunderbolt Fantasy Sword Seekers”. This will be his second appearance at Sakura con.
