Come visit the Mecha Modeling Room located in the Summit Building Room 327 for open build time, skill building and tutorials, and a Mecha Building Contest!
The room will be open Friday from 10am to 10pm, Saturday from 9am to 10pm, and Sunday from 9am to 4pm with several scheduled sessions each day with free modeling kits for attendees! Check the programming schedule or the sign outside our room for times.
Contest Details:
The contest will have prizes across five categories:
1. Best Over All
2. Custom Build
3. Advanced Build
4. Straight Build
5. People’s Choice
Best Custom Build, Best Advanced Build, Best Straight Build, and People’s Choice. While we do recommend pre-registering for the contest, on-site registration will also be available until 2 pm on Saturday, with judging and the awards ceremony taking place on Saturday at 6pm.

Mecha Modeling Contest Entry Form
To participate in the contest, you will need to bring your kit to the Mecha Modeling room on Friday or Saturday before 2pm. Only one entry is allowed per person. When registering, please choose the appropriate category for your kit. We reserve the right to move your kit to a different category if we feel it is necessary. People’s Choice voting will take place during the official judging so come to our room at 6pm on Saturday if you’d like to make your voice heard.
