Mecha Modeling

Come visit the Mecha Modeling Room (214) for open build time, skill building and tutorials (check the programming schedule), and a Mecha Building Contest!

The room will be open Friday from 10am to midnight, Saturday from 9am to midnight, and Sunday from 9am to 4pm.

Contest Details:

The contest will have five prizes across five categories: Best Over All, Best Custom Build, Best Advanced Build, Best Straight Build, and People’s Choice. While we do recommend pre-registering for the contest, on-site registration will also be available until 1 pm on Saturday, with judging and the awards ceremony taking place on Saturday from 6pm to 8:30pm.

To participate in the contest, you will need to bring your kit to the Mecha Modeling room on Friday or Saturday before 1pm. Because the People’s Choice voting will be done throughout the day Friday and Saturday, the sooner you bring your kit, the better! Only one entry is allowed per person. When registering, please choose the appropriate category for your kit. We reserve the right to move your kit to a different category if we feel it is necessary.
