Press Application Form

Sakura-Con welcomes and appreciates all media coverage. Please complete the press application below to request press access to our event. You may be contacted with questions in the process of determining approval, so please be sure to add press@sakuracon.org to your email address book or email white list in order to receive emails from the Sakura-Con Press staff. All applications must be received via our form by March 31st. Sakura-Con does not guarantee all applicants will be granted press access, but will respond to all applications received before March 31st. Any requests received after that date risk not being reviewed due to time constraints.

Sakura-Con cannot guarantee approval on any interview requests. All requests are subject to the approval of our guests, and they may require additional information from the requesting organization before granting an interview. If that is the case, press members will be contacted by Sakura-Con Press staff or a representative of the guest with further questions. Please note, any interview scheduling requested after March 31st runs a high risk of not being approved because of tight scheduling and time constraints relative to the convention date. All members of the press requesting access for press-only interviews must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, and must provide proof of vaccination in accordance with convention policies at the time they pick up their badge.

ANCEA is a membership organization and as such it has its own Member Newsletter. Once you register you will be added to our distribution list to receive member announcements and our Member Newsletter.

Team Sakura

Team Sakura is gearing up for a full year of events that promote and celebrate Sakura-con. We want you to be a part of some fun and upcoming events where you can showcase your cosplay and appreciation of Japanese culture before Sakura-con 2019. We will be available to sell memberships throughout the year. We hope to see you at these events and help spread the word of our convention!
