Sakura-Con Gaming 2024!

Hi! Do you like TCGs?

Maybe you’re a master, or maybe you’re just looking to learn the basics? No matter what, we’ve got you covered. Seasoned veteran or brand-new rookie, let us show you some of the greatest games on offer. MTG, Yugioh, Pokemon, Grand Archive, Flesh And Blood, Digimon, One Piece and more! We’ll have events and learn to play modules for every one of them and many more, too.

Come to Room 618-620 in the Arch Building between the hours of 9 AM to Midnight on Friday and Saturday, and 9 AM to 5 PM on Sunday and jam out some games, learn something new, and win some fabulous prizes. Especially the Raffle- I hear the grand prize this year is a real whale of a catch… You won’t want to miss it!

Oriana Peron

Oriana Peron is a trailblazing drag performer whose effervescent persona and unique flair have captivated audiences nationwide. Originating from Bloomington, IN, Oriana’s journey began in 2006 as a cosplayer. Her passion for costumes and characters seamlessly evolved into a full-time drag career, where she now hosts electrifying events at conventions from coast to coast.

Oriana’s performances are a whimsical fusion of anime, video games, and musical artistry, creating one-of-a-kind acts that are as quirky as they are captivating. Her signature style celebrates all things nerdy, blending vibrant cosplay with high-energy drag to bring beloved characters and genres to life on stage. Her innovative approach has earned her notable features in Crunchyroll, Anime News Network, and Watermark magazine. Oriana’s dedication to her craft also extends to creating inclusive, engaging spaces for her audiences, making each show a memorable experience.
Currently, Oriana is expanding her horizons with a mission to take her anime-inspired drag shows to an international audience. Whether she’s dazzling at conventions or curating shows that spotlight other talented performers, Oriana Peron continues to push boundaries and inspire with her boundless creativity and passion for performance.

Reol

Sakura-Con is pleased to announce Reol will perform at this year’s convention!

Reol began creating and releasing music in 2012, and quickly hit 1 million subscribers. She was later chosen for the first global YouTube campaign, “Artist on the Rise”.

An internet-born songwriter, record producer, and rapper with clear electronic and rock influences, her music is a distinctive fusion of western and Asian pop. Her music is defined by her expressive voice combined with appealing, upbeat melodies. Currently, she has over 1.71 million Youtube subscribers with a total of 1.08 billion views, and her hit song, “THE SIXTH SENSE” exceeded 100 million streams. Reol is gaining international popularity with her one-and-only joyful, bitter dark, twisted, and kawaii vibes.

In June 2023, Reol released “Edge”, an ending theme song for the TV anime Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenkaku Romantan. In March 2024, Reol released the U.S. official WcDonald’s song, “WANT U LUV IT” in an animated music video with Studio Pierrot. In October 2024, Reol released her new song, “RE RESCUE”, for the smash hit anime series Blue Exorcist -Beyond the Snow Saga-. In December, she collaborated with the popular global game, Honkai: Star Rail 崩坏: 星穹铁道(miHoYo), and produced the track “No Dazzle, No Break” for the upcoming character Rappa. Her latest track titled “SHINOBI” is also inspired by Rappa.

Sally Amaki

Sally Amaki is an English/Japanese bilingual voice actress and idol performer based in Tokyo, Japan. Originally born in the United States, she moved to Japan to pursue a career in the entertainment business, primarily as a voice actress.

She is the idol and voice actress for Sakura Fujima from 22/7, and her other anime roles include Betsy Beltoise from Kaguya-sama: Love is War, Eliza Shimizu from Bocchi the Rock!, and others.
In games, she is the voice of Kiriko from Overwatch 2, and Peni Parker in Marvel Rivals.

She has also assumed the role of MC and Host to numerous programs including Aniplex Online Fest, SACRA Music News, and the Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

In addition to her work as an idol as part of the 22/7 project, her broad appeal to both Western and Japanese audiences has led to her achieving the rare opportunity to portray the same anime character in both English and Japanese (Carol Olston, Tomo-chan Is a Girl!).
Her hobbies and skills include figure skating, dance, singing, and speaking conversational Spanish.

Sally Amaki also is active on her YouTube channel, which has content both in English and Japanese, with viewers not only in Japan, but also from all over the world.

Her unique position to voice characters in English and Japanese make her a rising star in the industry both in and out of Japan!

Simba Tsuchiya

Sakura-con is pleased to welcome Simba Tsuchiya (voice of Shuji Itō from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-)!

Actor and voice actor, born in 1996, Tokyo. He trained his physical ability through Japanese dance and classical ballet, and worked as an action actor. He was fascinated by “voice acting” on stage, and is now active as a genre-less expressive actor. He has voiced various roles including Shuji Itō in “Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX-Beginning-“, Balgo in “BURN THE WITCH“, Tsutomu Goshiki in “Haikyuu!!”, Tatara Fujita in “Welcome to the Ballroom”, Shotaro Futaba in “Backflip‼”, Raphael in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem”. He also participated in stage productions of Shakespeare’s “The Tragedy of Julius Caesar” and “Love’s Labor’s Lost”. In 2020, he won the “Best New Actors” of the 15th Seiyu Awards.
